- One byte= One keystroke = 8bits (bits are 0s or 1s)
- One K = 1000 bytes = one page of typed text
- One meg = 1000 K = 1,000,000 bytes = Harry Potter
- One gig = 1000 meg = 1,000,000,000 bytes = small personal library
- One terabyte= 1000 gig = 1,000,000,000,000 bytes = huge library
- Floppy Disk = 1 meg = 1000K = 1,000,000bytes
- Memory Stick = 500 meg
- CD ROM = 650 meg
- DVD = 4-17 gig
- blog= web-log
- RAM= Random Access Memory (the computer’s short-term memory… measured in gigs)
